We have compiled a programme that will target the foundational skills children need to learn as they are growing. We also ensure that our sessions are flexible, and that the syllabus is altered and improved annually, to give children variety while consistently increasing the quality of training.
A child’s foundation in physical education has a direct impact on his or her academic and social development, and as a result, a direct bearing on their interaction with society. We believe that self-confidence and physical capability go hand-in-hand. We have therefore identified several ways in which this can be achieved in our programme.
Our goal is to work in conjunction with classroom activities and the playground physical development to solidify what the children are learning. At foundation phase, the key to mastering a new skill is repetition and creating vital neural pathways in the brain. At Jumping Jacks we endeavour to solidify these neural pathways with fun and challenging actives.
We consult with qualified professionals in the relevant fields to verify that our sessions are age-appropriate and developmentally sound. Our ideals are re-examined annually to ensure the inclusion of the most recent scientific research.
The class instructors have been trained and qualified through Jumping Jacks Gym but many hold additional experience and qualifications. Staff development takes place every six months and instructors are given the opportunity to attend workshops, courses, and one-on-one sessions with qualified consultants to extend or update their previous training.
